Training Designer – Instruction and eLearning
Buckeye CableSystem is seeking a creative and energetic individual to fill the newly created position of Training Designer - Instruction and eLearning.The Training Designer is responsible for developing and conducting effective training programs for the Buckeye Companies with a focus on e-learning and blended learning approaches. The Training Designer will work with Subject Matter Experts to develop content and translate into Computer Based Training using our authoring tool. The Training Designer also will conduct instructor led training programs for new and existing employees.
Minimum Requirements include Bachelor degree in Training, Human Resources, Communications, Org Develop, Instructional Technology or related field and/or equiv combination of education and practical work exp. 4 yrs min exp in designing, & facilitating training programs, 2 yrs min exp designing, delivering and measuring e-learning and blended learning training programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other presentation software programs.Other requirements include ability to lift 25 lbs, possess a clear understanding of adult learning principals and business concepts, exp in determining training needs, and an acceptable driving record. Familiarity with LMS a plus. Background check and drug screen/physical required.

Service Technician
Buckeye CableSystem has partnered with Renhill Staffing for direct hire/no fee positions and is seeking individuals for a full-time Service Technician (ST). The ST’s primary responsibility is to run service calls from in the house to the first amplifier in the run. The ST is required to demonstrate a positive demeanor to the general public and subscribers, conveying the Company and its services in a positive light and perform correct hook-up of in-house cable, customer equipment and other special assignments as needed.
Minimum Requirements include High School diploma/equivalent, 1 yr prior practical work exp in CATV system maintenance, 1 yr prior electronics exp, and 1 yr computer networking exp. Other requirements include acceptable driving record, ability to lift 70 lbs, and ability to climb poles and use gaffs.
Background check and drug screen/physical are required.
